These terms apply to sandiegonewsline.com, our print edition, and any subscription you buy from San Diego Newsline LLC ("San Diego Newsline," "we," "us"). By using the site or subscribing, you agree to them.
Our content
Stories, photographs, illustrations, and print editions are owned by San Diego Newsline LLC or used under license, and are protected by copyright. You may read, print, and share links to our stories for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts with credit and a link to the original. Republishing whole stories, scraping the site, or using our content to train or feed automated systems requires our written permission.
News Wire items link to announcements published by government agencies and other organizations; those pages belong to their publishers and are governed by their own terms.
Accuracy and corrections
We work to be accurate and link each story to its public sources. Content is provided for general information and is not legal, financial, or other professional advice. If you believe something we published is wrong, write to [email protected] and we will review it under our corrections policy.
Print subscriptions
A print subscription is $89.95 per year, paid in advance, and is available for delivery addresses in San Diego County. The weekly edition is sent by U.S. Mail; we are not responsible for Postal Service delays. You can cancel at any time by contacting us. Cancellation stops future issues, and you may request a refund of the unused portion of your subscription. Prices may change at renewal; we will tell you before any renewal is charged.
Legal notices
Legal notices are published at the request and expense of the person or business placing them, who is responsible for their content. Publication and proof-of-publication services are governed by the order terms provided when the notice is placed.
Use of the site
Don't use the site to break the law, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access accounts or systems that aren't yours. Letters, tips, and other material you send us may be edited and published; don't send material you don't have the right to share.
Third-party services
Some features are provided by others, such as Google (including Google News and subscription or newsletter sign-up prompts) and our payment processors. Your use of those features is also subject to their terms.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
The site is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, San Diego Newsline LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, and our total liability for any claim relating to a subscription is limited to the amount you paid for it in the prior twelve months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
